MKA Students Named National Achievement Finalists

Congratulations to MKA seniors Lauren Martin and Jordan Walters who have been named Finalists in the 2012 National Achievement Scholarship Competition and will now be considered for National Achievement Scholarships.

Martin, an Avery Barras Distinguished Scholar, Mary K. Waring Scholar and Faculty Scholar is also a member of Student Government, a Peer Leader, an Academy Guide and was Captain of the Girls' Varsity Tennis Team, in which role she received the MKA Fall Captain's Award.

Walters is a member of the Varsity Soccer and Fencing teams, an avid photographer and chess player, a member of the Jazz Band and is actively pursuing his designation as an Eagle Scout.
