MKA Students Score High in National French Exams

22 April 2014

Congratulations go to several MKA Upper School students who earned high rankings in this year's AATF National Concours (national French contest.)

Three freshmen in French 2 Honors earned top ten rankings among the 23,581 students who sat for the level 2 exam in March (rankings are based on the number of correct answers.) Parker Richardson earned a 4th place ranking, John Gouwar earned a 5th place ranking and Maddie Sirois earned a 9th place ranking. These students will be recognized with Bronze medals and High Honors National Certificates.

In addition, sophomore Paisley Turner earned a 13th place ranking for the Level 3 exam and junior Heather Milke also earned a 13th place ranking for the Level 4 exam. These rankings place them in the top 80% and they will receive Honors Certificates.

French, together with Spanish, is offered at MKA from Pre-K on. Chinese and Latin are introduced in sixth grade.
