MKA to celebrate first MLK "Day On"

MKA will honor the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., with an inaugural MLK "Day On" on Monday, January 19 at the Middle School campus from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m.  While not a school day, families are invited to attend this event that will combine community service, inspiring videos followed by discussion and then a celebration with the MKA Step Team.  Deanna London from Montclair's Human Needs Pantry will be on hand to accept canned goods and share her own experiences of participating in the 1963 march.
