MKA Track & Field Athletes Claim SEC Titles

Congratulations to MKA’s Track and Field athletes who enjoyed a day of success at the SEC Colonial Division Track and Field Championship held this past weekend. Highlights included three MKA champions who in winning, claimed new SEC Meet Records: Kieran Powell '12, the SEC Javelin Champion with a throw of 155' 9”; Lyndsi Ross-Trevor '14, the SEC Pole Vault Champion with a vault of 10' 6, and Ike Osbun '15, the Boys’ SEC Pole Vault Champion with a vault of 11’.

In addition, Dana Placentra '13 took the Silver medal in Pole Vault, Hallie Earle '12 won two Bronze medals in the 100m and 200m, and David Kabrt '13 set a new MKA Record in 400m Intermediate Hurdles with a time of 61.65.
