MKA Welcomes May with a School Tradition
MKA's Second Grade performed their traditional Maypole Dance in front of some very special guests earlier today.
In honor of the School's 125th anniversary, local alumni from The Kimberley School were invited to watch the dance and enjoy breakfast with Headmaster Tom Nammack and members of the Alumni Office. The Maypole Dance, together with the crowning of a May Day Queen, was a highlight of The Kimberley School experience, and in addressing the audience of parents and Primary School students and faculty, MKA Honorary Trustee Aubin Ames, a member of the Kimberley Class of 1954, recalled just how hard it was to perform the dance successfully.
Under a cloudless May sky, this year's dancers gave a picture-perfect performance!
