MKA's Future Forward Campaign Exceeds $20 million
In a landmark moment for MKA's Future Forward Campaign, funds raised from all sources – Annual Giving, capital gifts, gifts to endowment, matching gifts and others – have now crossed the $20 million mark towards an overall goal of $30 million.
"This is an extraordinary achievement for MKA." Notes Headmaster Thomas W. Nammack. "Not only is it testament to the loyalty and support of the entire MKA community – alumni, parents, faculty and friends – but also to the shared belief in the importance of an MKA education and of continuing to provide the very best for our students in terms of faculty, program and facilities both now and in the future. It is hard to adequately express our gratitude."
On the heels of extensive renovations at the Middle School campus and the turfing of Muenster Field, the next visible result of the Campaign will be seen at the Upper School Campus. To date, $3.65 million of the $4 million goal for a new Academic Center has been raised, and groundbreaking for the project is anticipated to take place over the summer. The Academic Center will create a state-of-the-art library facility where technology and learning can truly come together. It will substantially increase the size of the Upper School Library and will include a tech center, an academic support center and flexible classroom spaces for small study groups
