MKA's Prince Awarded Klingenstein Fellowship

17 April 2013

Congratulations to MKA Upper School history teacher Andrew Prince who has been awarded a prestigious Klingenstein Fellowship to attend Klingenstein’s intensive 2-week Summer Institute to be held at the Lawrenceville School in late June. This international designation is awarded to teachers in their 2nd-5th year of teaching, and is designed to encourage their continued growth and promote leadership skills.  The Institute challenges 75 young teachers to embrace the complexities of the classroom and to explore the art of teaching and the delicate balance of subject mastery, judgment, intuition and creativity through lectures, discussion sections and workshops with their peers in both grade level and discipline groups.
