MKA's Svane Enjoys a Summer of Successes

MKA's Director of Instrumental and Vocal Music, Randall Svane, is enjoying a summer of compositional success.  On Sunday, July 14, The New York Philharmonic will be performing his All American Fanfare for brass at 3:00 p.m. at the College of Staten Island - admission is free and open to the public.

In addition, Svane's Violin Concerto is being premiered in Germany this month by The Academic Orchestra of Tubingen University. The orchestra will embark on a tour of the US this October, and will be performing at MKA on October 8 at 7:30 p.m.
