MKA's Svec Wins Off-Off Broadway

Once again, a J.C. Svec production garnered accolades at the recent Planet Connections Theatre Festivity in New York. Here's Looking at You (A Cordial Invitation) written and directed by Svec, a member of the MKA Upper School Fine and Performing Arts Department, won the Outstanding Overall Production of an Entire Evening of One-Acts/Paired Productions and was a finalist in the Outstanding Overall Production of a Short Play, One-Act or Monologue category.

Described as " Hilarious, insightful and intelligent" and "a show that shouldn't be missed" by Review Fix, the production featured a cast comprised of MKA students and alumni, including Rob Gelberg from the Class of 2010, Sarah Cuneo and Lauren Friezo from the Class of 2011 and rising seniors Nadia Brown and Ed Rosini.
