MKA's Unaccompanied Minors Have Major Success!

In their first-ever international competition, MKA's newly formed acappella group the Unaccompanied Minors met with success at the ICHSA (International Competition of High School Acappella) Mid-Atlantic Semi-Finals held in Allendale, NJ last night.

The Minors were one of eleven groups from the entire region selected to compete, and finished in the second runner-up position - an impressive showing for the 18 Upper School students and their advisors, Dominique Gerard and Jean Hooi Lee, who have only been performing together since the start of this school year. "Though this means our group will not move onto the finals round," notes Gerard, "everyone was really excited that they placed in this, their first competition."
