MKA's Unaccompanied Minors Make Acappella Semifinals

Congratulations to MKA's recently formed Upper School acappella group, the Unaccompanied Minors, who have qualified for the very competitive ICHSA (International Competition of High School Acappella) Mid-Atlantic Semifinals to be held on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Northern Highlands Regional High School in Allendale. They will be competing against ten other teams and hope to advance to the Finals in New York City this April.

This is a remarkable accomplishment for the group who came into being because of student interest and have only been together for four months. The Unaccompanied Minors are advised by Upper School Dean of Student Life and Tri-Campus Director of Diversity and Inclusion Dominique Gerard and enjoyed their first public performance at MKA's All-School Gathering in October.
