MKA's Zhu to Perform at Lincoln Center

Congratulations to MKA 6th grader, David Zhu, who continues to excel in the world of classical piano and who will perform at the prestigious Winner’s Recital of the 15th Annual Cecilian Young Artist Competition in Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center this coming Sunday, December 9th.

Earlier this year, David won first place in the 42nd Annual Young Artists Piano Competition of the Music Educators Association of New Jersey, the third consecutive year that he has won this competition. In May, he performed at Carnegie Hall as a gold medal winner of the Golden Key Music Festival, and most recently, in November, he placed first in his age group in the Young Musician’s annual piano Competition of the New Jersey Music Teachers Association (NJMTA) and performed at the NJMTA State Conference.
