PAMKA’s Spring Gala Shines a Light on Faculty Excellence at MKA

The Parents’ Association of Montclair Kimberley Academy (PAMKA) hosted their annual Spring Gala on Friday, April 14, at The Grove. The evening was a great success for the school and was filled with fun, community, and entertainment.

Thanks to the generosity of our community, over $250,000 was raised at this year’s Spring Gala. These proceeds will have a meaningful impact on MKA, through such programs as the MKA Faculty Endowment, Campus Wish Lists, and Faculty Trust Grants. The evening’s Direct Appeal focused on the newly formed Faculty Excellence Fellowship, which was designed to recognize excellence in and commitment to teaching at MKA by providing significant financial awards to faculty who are pursuing their professional educational degrees. Congratulations to Spring Gala Co-Chairs Jessica Freeman and Kate Vail, and the truly dedicated team of volunteers, who orchestrated this successful event. Around 400 members of the MKA community enjoyed a festive evening bidding on both silent and live auction items, raffle baskets, and the 50/50 raffle. Guests were treated to a special performance by MKA’s Upper School Jazz Band and enjoyed a meaningful tribute to former Board of Trustees President Kate Logan.
