Placentra Sisters Capture Pole Vault Title

Congratulations to the Placentra sisters as senior Laura and freshman Dana captured the NJSIAA Non-Public Pole Vault Relay title last weekend at the Bennett Athletic Center in Toms River, NJ. Laura cleared 9' and Dana cleared 7' 6". Laura is the present MKA Indoor Track & Field record holder at 10' 1" set earlier this winter at the Vault-Zilla Holiday Festival, where she came in 9th place overall in the girls' high school division and Dana tied for 1st place in the girls' novice high school division with a jump of 8' 0".
