Seniors Inducted into Cum Laude Society

20 seniors from the Class of 2010 were inducted into the Cum Laude Society at a formal ceremony held at the Upper School on June 12. Brian Wecht, MKA Class of l993, a physicist and researcher, gave the address.

The Cum Laude Society, established in l906, is modeled on the Phi Beta Kappa Collegiate National Honor Society and recognizes the scholastic achievement of secondary school students. It is the highest academic honor bestowed on members of the graduating class.

The student inductees are: Paul Arcoleo, Devon Barrett, Alexa Franco, Jerome Froelich, Taylor Hatch, Joseph Mallock, Sarah Moses, Zachary Opperman, Jake Perl, Margaret Phillips, Laura Placentra, Laura Polding, Julie Reiter, Shaylin Schundler, Emilie Schurenberg, Jesse Schwimmer, Alexa Semonche, Elana Stern, Kelsey Taylor and Rosa Wahlers.
