Seniors named to Field Hockey Coaches High School Hockey Academic Squad

Congratulations to MKA seniors Devon Barrett and Marion Nammack who have been selected to the 2009 National Field Hockey Coaches Association High School National Academic Squad.  To be eligible for nomination, candidates had to be a significant senior member of/contributor to their high school Varsity team, and have earned a cumulative, unweighted GPA of 3.5 out of 4.0.

"I am so proud of these two young women as they receive this great honor.  Since their freshmen year," says MKA's varsity Field Hockey Coach, Injoo Han, "Marion and Devon have been exemplary examples of how consistent hard work and focus can translate into success both on the field and in the classroom.  They represent the very best terms of an MKA student-athlete and I can't think of any two role models who are more deserving!"
