Third Graders Graduate From The Primary School!

12 June 2018

MKA's Class of 2027 moved on from the Primary School during this morning's Closing Exercises. We proudly watched our third graders formally end their Primary School years, taking with them dreams of becoming a teacher, lawyer, spine surgeon, paleontologist, archaeologist, veterinarian, artist, soccer player, gymnast, inventor, basketball player, Lego engineer, movie star/singer, game designer, comic book author/illustrator at Marvel, video game tester, actor, soccer player (a mini-Alex Morgan), pro golfer, Olympic swimmer, chief merchandising officer, track star, the President of the United States, WNBA player, meteorologist, dentist, Navy Seal, photographer, pet trainer, fashion designer, dancer, and architect. With their talents, they can be anything they desire! Whether they accomplish these goals or others not yet imagined, we wish this year's third grade class all the best as they begin new adventures. We will miss their laughter in the hallways and can't wait to hear about their future endeavors and successes. We would like to thank Jane Smith, Kristen Weaver, Jocelyn Fine, Dana Rose, Daniela Vespucci, Kate Caro, Jennifer MacQuarrie, Anne-Sophie Roure, Maureen Bates, Margaret Gonzales and Coach Pacifico for helping the children be so prepared for their big day! Thank you, Marie Ihnen, for accompanying so beautifully on the violin.

Head of Primary School, Ginger Kriegel, shared many memories with the students and her pride in them was evident. She said, "We have come to truly know and appreciate you as individuals. You are inquisitive, creative, determined, resilient, and above all, you are so interested in doing your part to save the earth and make life better for all the world. One of your greatest strengths as a group is your ability to work together to solve problems both in the social/emotional arena as well as the academic."
