MKA Students Score High on National Latin Tests

MKA students have met with considerable success on recent National Latin tests.  On course offerings that range from Latin 1 to AP Latin, 36 Upper School students took the tests and over half of them scored significantly above the national average.

Three students received the hightest award of Gold Summa Cum Laude, while seven received Silver Maxima Cum Laude awards, eight received Magna Cum Laude awards and one received a Cum Laude award.

Latin, together with Chinese, is offered from sixth grade on at MKA, while students begin learning French or Spanish in Pre-Kindergarten.
